Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) offers learners without prior experience the knowledge and skills they need to be operationally effective in a career in the Human Resource Management field. For those learners that have prior experience in Human Resource Management and who also possess a professional qualification, the pathway through this programme will develop their professional competence.

Progression Pathway

This pathway consists of two stages:

 

  • Stage 1: Diploma in Human Resource Management

  • Stage 2: MA in Human Resource Management from University of Northampton or University of Worcester.

 

Successful completion of the Stage 1 Diploma will enable direct entry onto the Stage 2 Top-Up programme.

Entry Requirements

For entry onto the Stage 1 Diploma applicants will typically posses:

  • A UK Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent and two years managerial work experience OR; 

  • At least five years managerial work experience (evaluated on an individual basis) AND;

  • A good command of English (equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above)
